The word Big Data has been used since the 1990s. This word was rarely used in the last century. However, recently, Big Data is used so much that our era is also called the "Data Era". Here, data is analyzed and classified, made meaningful and actionable. Large volumes of data located in the database can be managed using various programs. Examples of these programs include Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, Apache Hive, Apache Flume, Apache Oozie and others.
Some of the benefits of Big Data
• Storage of customer data:
Names, surnames, e-mail addresses, residential addresses of millions of customers such as storing data in databases, performing filtering operations on customers and sending data to each of the customers at the same time can be shown as an example of the benefits of this technology.
• Identification of potential risks:
Enterprises operate in high-risk environments and therefore seek optimal ways of risk management to effectively solve problems that may arise in business processes. Big data plays an important role in developing risk management processes and strategies. Big data analytics and tools can enable immediate risk mitigation or management by optimizing complex decisions for unexpected events and potential threats.
