The 1st meeting of the Working Group on digital trade established in order to ensure the implementation of the issues arising from the Memorandum of understanding on the cooperation in digital trade signed between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Turkey was held.
At the meeting chaired by Tamerlan Taghiyev, executive director of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) under the Ministry of economy, the discussions were held on the goals of the Working Group, directions of activity, initial analysis of the issues mentioned in the Memorandum of understanding, organization of coordinated work in facilitating and digitalization of the trade activities.
It should be noted that based on the instructions of the Cabinet of ministers, corresponding Working Group was established at the Ministry of Economy in order to ensure the implementation of the provisions of the Memorandum of understanding on the cooperation in digital trade signed between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Turkey. The Working Group includes the representatives of 11 state agencies and the coordination of the activities of the Group is entrusted to C4IR.
