4th Industrial Revolution Academy collaborates with Coursera for Digital Skill Development

Within the 4th Industrial Revolution Academy, one more group of 1000 persons has commenced 6-week training courses on the "Coursera" online education platform.

 

The "4th Industrial Revolution Academy" project, ruled by the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution under the Ministry of Economy, the Education Development Fund (EDF) under the Ministry of Science and Education, and in collaboration with the U.S. company "Coursera," offers online educational programs covering components of the fourth industrial revolution, including artificial intelligence, big data, machine learning, blockchain and cloud technologies, as well as leadership, communication, and English language skills. In total, there are around 800 courses across 89 sub-categories.

 

To date, nearly 7,000 individuals have registered to use the platform. The main goal of the "4th Industrial Revolution Academy" project is to develop digital skills in the country. Within the project framework, it is envisaged that over 10,000 individuals in Azerbaijan will benefit from training programs offered by the world's prestigious universities and companies through "Coursera," the advanced education platform in the United States, over the course of one year. Currently, there are 125,000 Azerbaijani users on the "Coursera" platform, which has 129 million online users worldwide.
