On March 27, a meeting was convened via the "Global Collaboration Village" platform of DIF, jointly organized by 4SIM and the World Economic Forum. The focus was on the establishment of a public-private XR collaboration platform utilizing Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), and Mixed Reality (MR) technologies.
Management staff and experts across various fields participated in discussions regarding the integration of virtual and augmented reality technologies for meetings, events, and knowledge exchanges. Additionally, ideas were shared concerning the virtual representation of factories, smart cities, and environmental projects within the metaverse and virtual reality. Given Azerbaijan's hosting of COP29, proposals were made to organize virtual sessions addressing energy and climate issues.
The Global Collaboration Village stands as the world's premier augmented reality platform, employing cutting-edge technology to unite leaders in addressing real-world challenges through virtual reality. Developed through a partnership between the World Economic Forum, "Village Accenture," and "Microsoft," the project has garnered partnerships from over 142 companies. Notably, the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution under the Ministry of Economy plays a significant role in advancing this platform's development.
