Virtual Meeting held on the World Economic Forum's “Global Collaboration Village” Metaverse Platform

09 April 2024

On April 9th, employees of 4SIM participated in a meeting held in the metaverse with the World Economic Forum's "#GlobalCollaborationVillage" network. During the meeting, the center's staff explored two different scenarios in a virtual environment.

The first scenario took place at the "Climate Tipping Points Hub." This hub is a data-driven, immersive environment designed to help decision-makers visualize the future impacts of climate change on polar regions and global ecosystems.

The second scenario was at the "Stakeholder Campus." This campus allows partners of the "Global Collaboration Village" to propose innovative ideas and address global challenges through their individual pavilions.

The “Global Collaboration Village” is the world’s first extended reality platform equipped with next-generation technology, bringing leaders together to solve real-world problems through virtual reality. This initiative is a project of the World Economic Forum in collaboration with Accenture and Microsoft. Over 142 companies are currently partnering with this platform. One of the key contributors to the platform's development is the Analysis and Coordination Center of the Fourth Industrial Revolution under the Ministry of Economy.
