Starting today, an additional 1,000 users will commence a 6-week training program on the Coursera platform as part of the "4IR Academy" initiative. Since its inception on September 15, 2023, the project has benefited 8,000 individuals.
Among the new users, 546 are teachers from secondary schools in our country, specializing in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) and STEM fields. Other participants include employees of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences (ANAS), representatives from startups within the Sabah HUB ecosystem, winners of various competitions held by C4IR at different events, and individuals actively seeking employment.
To date, users of "4IR Academy" have successfully completed nearly 2,700 courses on Coursera, earning certificates. Participants have engaged in 16,764 courses related to components of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Blockchain technologies, and more. Additionally, they have taken 7,365 courses on personal development and 2,125 courses on career and language skills.
Currently, over 2,600 courses on the Coursera platform have been translated into Azerbaijani using artificial intelligence, allowing users to access course materials with subtitles in their native language.
The "4SI Academy" project, conducted in collaboration with the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) under the Ministry of Economy, the Education Development Fund (EDF) under the Ministry of Science and Education, and the American company Coursera, offers nearly 800 courses from 40 prestigious universities and leading technology companies. These courses, which cover components of the Fourth Industrial Revolution such as artificial intelligence, big data, machine learning, blockchain, and cloud technologies, as well as skills in leadership, communication, and English language, are provided free of charge.
