Seminar on the "Industry 4.0 Readiness Program" Held

A seminar on the "Industry 4.0 Readiness Program" was organized by the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4SIM) for representatives of private companies, government agencies, and industry communities.

 

The executive director of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR), Fariz Jafarov, informed participants about the center's activities and ongoing efforts towards digital economic development. He highlighted that in August, the application period for the pilot phase of the "Industry 4.0 Readiness Program" (S4HP) was completed. This phase will involve local partners in assessing the digital maturity of industrial enterprises using international methodologies and developing relevant roadmaps for implementation.

 

International expert Cem Arslan gave a presentation titled “What is Industry 4.0?” and discussed global trends and challenges in this field.

 

At the end of the event, Orkhan Guliyev, Chief Operations Officer of the Caspian Innovations Center, shared success stories about the application of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies at SOCAR enterprises and answered participants' questions.

 

The S4HP aims to support companies in their Industry 4.0 readiness, ultimately driving economic growth. A series of events covering various sectors and communities is planned by the end of the year to further this initiative.
