The "First Eurasian Forum on Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences" took place at ADA University, gathering professors from leading universities across eight countries.
In his opening remarks, ADA University's Vice-Rector and Member of Parliament, Fariz Ismailzade, welcomed participants and highlighted that the forum would explore cutting-edge approaches in machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data sciences. The event brought together experts specializing in AI theory, the development of new methodologies, and the application of data sciences in diverse fields such as medicine, cybersecurity, sports, and agriculture. Scholars from prestigious universities worldwide attended to share their insights.
Fariz Jafarov, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) under the Ministry of Economy, gave an overview of the organization’s initiatives, particularly its efforts to develop the Science and Industry 4.0 cluster. He shared that a "Digital Economy Development Strategy" has been prepared, comprising 51 initiatives and 8 key projects. He also noted the ongoing success of the "4IR Academy" project, implemented in partnership with Coursera, aimed at fostering human capital development. Additionally, C4IR maintains strong collaboration with the World Economic Forum.
