The Executive Director of C4IR, Fariz Jafarov, met with Chey Huang, the Head of the World Economic Forum’s “Global Collaboration Village” platform, as part of the Davos Forum.
During the meeting, an introduction session to the platform’s new Augmented Reality environment was held, with the participation of leaders from other centers that are part of the C4IR Network.
The meeting also included discussions on ongoing collaborative efforts between 4SİM and the platform. In 2024, Azerbaijan was ranked among the top 10 most active partners out of 142 platform participants. With the support of C4IR, a virtual pavilion for Azerbaijan, in collaboration with SOCAR, is planned to be developed by the Forum for 2025.
The Global Collaboration Village is the world’s first extended reality platform, designed to bring leaders together through virtual reality to address real-world challenges using next-generation technology. The initiative is a project of the World Economic Forum in collaboration with VillageAccenture and Microsoft. More than 142 organizations currently partner with the platform, and the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution under the Ministry of Economy is one of the key contributors to its development.
