An event was held at Mingachevir State University (MSU) within the “Meeting with a professional” project. The event dedicated to "The Fourth Industrial Revolution and digital economy" was attended by Tamerlan Taghiyev, executive director of Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR).

Talking about the role of the Fourth Industrial Revolution and digitalization in modern global economy, Shahin Bayramov, the rector of MSU, emphasized the importance of C4IR, created by the decree of the head of state, in strengthening the position of our country in this field and ensuring its place among the leading countries.

Tamerlan Taghiyev, executive director of C4IR, informed the event participants about the priorities and activities of the organization in the development of digital economy in Azerbaijan. Executive director emphasized the importance of the availability of corresponding infrastructure and financial resources in this field, as well the necessity of developing digital knowledge and skills, as well training highly qualified personnel that meet modern requirements.

Mehman Huseynov, the head of the Analysis and monitoring department of C4IR, informed the students about the establishment and advantages of the smart industry.

At the end, the questions of the participants were answered.
