Media tour was organized to the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) under the Ministry of Economy on March 15.

Tamerlan Taghiyev, executive director of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, informed the mass media representatives about the activities of the Center, the work performed to benefit our country from the opportunities created by the 4th Industrial Revolution and the directions of the cooperation with the World Economic Forum in this field.

It was noted that by the decree of January 6, 2021 of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution under the Ministry of Economy had been established. The Center implements cooperation and coordination with international organizations functioning in the field of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, as well analysis and coordination of challenges, initiatives, strategies and projects on digital economy. It was noted that C4IR has also hosted the Fourth Industrial Revolution Center of the Fourth Industrial Revolution Network of the World Economic Forum in Azerbaijan since April 1, 2021. At present it carries out implementation and coordination of the projects on 3 platforms ("Artificial intelligence and machine studies", "Internet of things and city transformation" and "Digital trade" together with the World Economic Forum).

Besides, the working groups were created on “The 4th Industrial Revolution” consisting of the representatives of 22 state agencies and on “Digital trade” consisting of the representatives of 11 state agencies, and the coordination of both working groups is implemented by the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Tamerlan Taghiyev emphasized the importance of the application of the 4th Industrial Revolution technologies in the restoration of our liberated territories and noted that the Center shall contribute to the introduction of the most advanced technologies in Azerbaijan and the establishment of “Smart” and “green” Karabakh.
