The next meeting of the Working Group on the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) technologies was held within "4th Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition" held at Baku Expo Center. The meeting, chaired by Tamerlan Taghiyev, executive director of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution under the Ministry of economy, was attended by the representatives of corresponding state agencies.

The discussions were held during the first meeting of the working group on the expansion of the application of 4IR technologies in the country, as well the works performed in order to develop National Artificial Intelligence Strategy within the period after the first meeting. The measures to be taken in order to implement the tasks arising from corresponding provisions specified in socio- economic development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2022-2026 were discussed, as well opinions and suggestions were heard at the meeting.

Then the members of the Working Group got acquainted with new technologies demonstrated at the "4th Azerbaijan International Defence Exhibition".

Note: It should be noted that the Working Group on 4IR technologies was established in order to study the opportunities on the application of 4IR technologies, to form regulatory and legal framework, road maps, to coordinate the projects, as well to expand the cooperation with international organizations functioning in this field.
