The next meeting of the Working Group on "Digital trade" was held

The next meeting of the Working Group on digital trade established in order to ensure the implementation of the issues arising from the Memorandum of understanding on the cooperation in digital trade signed between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Turkey was held.

The meeting, chaired by Tamerlan Taghiyev, executive director of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) under the Ministry of economy, was also attended by the representatives of corresponding state agencies of Turkey responsible for the implementation of the issues arising from the Memorandum.

The information was provided at the meeting on the work performed in the field of digital trade index measurement, customs operations and corresponding legislation, and the discussions was implemented on ensuring effective coordination of the measures to be taken.

It should be noted that based on the instructions of the Cabinet of ministers, corresponding Working Group was established at the Ministry of Economy in order to ensure the implementation of the provisions of the Memorandum of understanding on the cooperation in digital trade signed between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Turkey. The Working Group includes the representatives of 11 state agencies and the coordination of the activities of the Group is entrusted to C4IR.
