On December 23, the first meeting of the Working Group on "Preparation of the Digital Economy Strategy" was held under the chairmanship of Elnur Aliyev, the First Deputy Minister of Economy. At the meeting held in online format, the Fourth Industrial Revolution Analysis and Coordination Center (C4IR), which performs the Secretariat function of the Working Group, informed about the working principles of the Working Group, the tasks ahead for the development of the digital economy in our country, and presented the work to be done in the direction of the Digital Economy Strategy. It was noted that the mentioned document will be a single national strategy document that will determine the development directions for all components of the digital economy in our country. Afterwards, speeches of members of the Working Group were listened and mutual discussions were held. 

We would like to inform you that the preparation of the Digital Economy Strategy according to clause 1.1.8.1 of the Measures Plan of the "Social and Economic Development Strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2022-2026" approved by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 3378 dated July 22, 2022 , as well as in order to ensure effective coordination of the work to be done in the direction of internal coordination, cooperation with international donors and consulting organizations based on a unified approach to ensure development in the relevant field,  "Working group on the Preparation of the Digital Economy Strategy" has been established by the Ministry of Economy.
