For the first time in Azerbaijan “SOCAR Polymer” Company started implementation of Smart Industry Readiness Index (SIRI) evaluation method.

Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) under the Ministry of Economy (C4IR) continues its measures in the direction of measuring digital readiness and accelerating digitization in companies and enterprises operating in our country.

The implementation of the SIRI assessment launched in state institutions and private enterprises within the framework of cooperation on the directions defined in the Memorandum of Understanding signed between C4IR and the Metal Industry Association of Türkiye (MESS), which hosts the Fourth Industrial Revolution Center of the World Economic Forum in the Republic of Türkiye. Signed cooperation agreement between C4IR and this company regarding the implementation of this evaluation method in "SOCAR Polymer" Company. As part of this service, which was implemented for the first time in our country, the production and business processes of "SOCAR Polymer" Company, as well as various data will be analyzed. Will be prepared a report on the current state of the company in terms of digital readiness and Industry 4.0, together with road map of development in the field of smart transformation for the next 2-3 years.

SIRI evaluation procedures started at "SOCAR Polymer" Company on April 24.

Note: In order to accelerate the digital transformation on a global scale, the SIRI assessment, compiled by the Singapore Economic Development Council alongside with international companies such as McKinsey, Siemens, SAP, Technical Inspection Association, is the only digital maturity assessment method that officially accepted by the World Economic Forum. Up to this date, mentioned method been applied in more than 850 companies and enterprises operating in different fields in 30 countries of the world.
