On November 30 - December 1, the "InMerge Innovation Summit" took place at the Baku Congress Center for the third time, co-organized by the Center for Analysis and Coordination or the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) on behalf of the Ministry of Economy, the Innovation and Digital Development Agency on behalf of the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, with the main partnership of "Trendyol Group" and by "PASHA Holding."

The summit drew the participation of over 3,000 attendees from more than 20 countries, along with over 50 international investors and more than 150 startups.

The opening ceremony featured speeches from key figures such as Shahmar Movsumov, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and Director of the Economic Affairs and Innovative Development Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, Rashad Nabiyev, Minister of Digital Development and Transport, Elnur Aliyev, First Deputy Minister of Economy, Jalal Gasimov, CEO of "PAHA Holding" and Erdem Inan, Director of "Trendyol Group."

Following the keynote address by Steve Wozniak, co-founder of "Apple," a government panel discussion on "Connecting and Developing Innovation Ecosystems through Regional Collaboration" took place. The panel included Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Information Technologies and Communications Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Elnur Aliyev, First Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan; Farid Ahmadov, Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport; and Zekeriya Çoştu, Deputy Minister of Industry and Technology of the Republic of Türkiye.

Within the summit, a Memorandum of Understanding on collaboration for the development of innovation and startup ecosystems in the Republic of Azerbaijan was signed between the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) under the Ministry of Economy, the Education Development Fund under the Ministry of Science and Education, the Innovation and Digital Development Agency under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport, SOCAR, and "PASHA Holding."

During the panel titled "Unlocking Data's Potential: Fueling Innovation with AI," organized by the Innovation and Digital Development Agency, Fariz Jafarov, Executive Director of C4IR, emphasized the importance of artificial intelligence-based data for the economy. He highlighted the broad opportunities for the application of artificial intelligence in sectors such as agriculture, traditional and renewable energy, tourism, food industry, and more in Azerbaijan.

As one of the main partners, C4IR also represented its activities at a stand, providing information on the activities of the Azerbaijan Center of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which is one of the 18 members of the Fourth Industrial Revolution Network of the World Economic Forum, the C4IR Chatbot related to national legislation, and the World Economic Forum's Strategic Intelligence platform. Informative videos were displayed, and competitions were held within the framework of collaboration with "Coursera" under the "4SIM Academy."
