The Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) met with students and dedicated volunteers who contributed significantly during the last six-month period. Addressing the gathering, Fariz Jafarov, the executive director of C4IR, expressed gratitude for their impactful endeavors and extended heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of the Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis and the upcoming New Year. Jafarov commended the participants for their keen interest in the fourth industrial revolution, highlighting the noteworthy numerical representation of female interns and encouraging all to remain actively engaged and curious in their pursuit of knowledge.

In 2023, a cohort of 30 students from nine diverse universities engaged in C4IR projects, conducted research in the realm of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies, and provided valuable support for various events. Students from ADA University, University of Economics, Academy of Public Administration, ASOIU, and the University of Architecture and Construction were specifically chosen for their outstanding contributions. The students immersed themselves in a spectrum of 14 different projects, gaining hands-on experience in the dynamic field of the fourth industrial revolution.

Fariz Jafarov elaborated on the accomplishments of 4SIM in 2023 and outlined the forthcoming projects scheduled for 2024. Notably, the 4SI Academy witnessed an overwhelming response, with approximately 7,000 citizens applying for online training on the Coursera platform in August. Jafarov affirmed that this successful initiative will persist into 2024, providing young individuals with vital knowledge in the field of 4th Industry. The head of C4IR urged students to actively participate in upcoming events, including COP29, Baku ID, InMerge Innovation Summit, and international collaborations with the World Economic Forum in the coming year.

As a token of appreciation, participants were honored with letters of thanks from C4IR, gift cards, and an opportunity to undertake a 6-week training course on the Coursera platform as part of the 4SI Academy.
