The "IT Hub Azerbaijan" project, a collaborative effort between the Center of Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR), the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), and the "StrategEast" organization, has concluded successfully.

At the closing ceremony, attended by notable figures including Elmar Gasimov, the rector of the Baku Higher Oil School, Fariz Jafarov, the executive director of C4IR, Tahir Mirkishili, the chairman of the Economic Policy Committee of the Milli Majlis, Natali Muravidze, the head of the Baku office of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and Anatoly Motkin, the founder and president of the "StrategEast" enterprise, it was highlighted that the project significantly contributed to the training of skilled ICT personnel. The project aimed to bolster knowledge and skills in information technologies across regions, attract investments, and create job opportunities.

Through the project, 85 individuals aged 19-30 from various regions participated in free IT training, covering computer science, programming, and business analysis, among other topics, conducted by international experts from "EPAM Systems" company. Successful graduates are anticipated to secure employment in local and international companies.

Furthermore, training sessions on professional branding, CV preparation, and job interview readiness were conducted for project graduates and students of Baku Higher Oil School, followed by a career fair where leading local and foreign companies, state institutions, and organizations participated, offering about 500 job opportunities and internship programs.

This initiative aligns with the "Science-industry cluster 4.0" formation outlined in the "Socio-economic development strategy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in 2022-2026".
