Fourth Industrial Revolution Technologies Working Group Holds Fourth Meeting

The latest meeting of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) Technologies Working Group took place. Organized by the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4SIM) under the Ministry of Economy, the meeting included representatives from relevant government agencies. Fariz Jafarov, Executive Director of C4IR, briefed the working group members on the projects and initiatives being implemented in the country by 4SIM in the field of the fourth industrial revolution. These include the 4SIM chatbot, the application of artificial intelligence in wrestling, the "4IR Academy" in partnership with Coursera, and collaborations with the World Economic Forum.

 

Aziza Vidadi, Head of the Analysis and Monitoring Department, presented the Digital Economy Development Strategy and the nine major projects planned within its framework. She highlighted that the strategy focuses on three main areas: accelerating GDP growth through the digital transformation of enterprises, increasing citizens' access to sector-specific knowledge and skills to ensure a transition to a digital society, and enhancing the efficiency of government operations through data-driven management.

 

Ruslan Zeynalzade, Head of AI Projects, provided information on the registry of Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies created by 4SIM and successful solutions for implementing 4IR technologies in the national economy. He noted that currently, 43 different projects related to 4IR technologies are being implemented across 22 government agencies.

 

The meeting continued in a discussion format with the participation of representatives from various government agencies, who shared their opinions and suggestions.

 

Note: The 4IR Technologies Working Group was established to explore the application possibilities of these technologies, develop regulatory and legal frameworks, create roadmaps, coordinate projects, and expand cooperation with international organizations active in this field.
