Collaboration and joint projects between C4IR and the Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute were discussed.

On May 16, Fariz Jafarov, Executive Director of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR), met with Worku Gachena Negera, General Director of the Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute, who was visiting Azerbaijan.

During the meeting, both organizations presented their areas of activity. Information was shared about C4IR’s projects and initiatives, including the “Digital Economy Development Strategy.” The Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute showcased its projects in agriculture, healthcare, transportation, and security, as well as the activities of the Ethiopian Science Museum under its jurisdiction.

The parties discussed potential research and collaboration opportunities in artificial intelligence, data science, and digital technologies, as well as the exchange of expertise. An agreement was reached for C4IR to conduct AI training at a summer camp organized by the Ethiopian Artificial Intelligence Institute for 200 of its students this summer.
