Fariz Jafarov, the Executive Director of the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR), gave an interview on Euronews as part of the "Azerbaijan Diary" program, where he discussed the organization’s activities and ongoing projects.

Within the framework of "Azerbaijan 2030 - Vision for the Future," C4IR plans to implement 60 initiatives across three key areas: business, government, and society.

In collaboration with the World Economic Forum, efforts are underway to apply the "Smart Industry Readiness Index" methodology. By 2030, the digital transformation readiness of 650 local enterprises is expected to be assessed and supported.

To prepare citizens for the rapid changes brought about by advanced technologies, a project aimed at developing digital knowledge and skills is ongoing in partnership with Coursera.

As part of the strategy for developing the digital economy, work is underway to create a generative artificial intelligence system in the Azerbaijani language, one of nine major projects in this area.

At COP29, the results, benefits, and successes of applying artificial intelligence to energy consumption will be presented. Various international experiences and achievements in Cleantech, Energytech, and Greentech technologies are being introduced to the country.

To support the development of the local startup ecosystem, C4IR is participating as a partner in significant regional events such as Baku ID and InMerge.
