C4IR participates in "Coursera Connect 2024"

The "Coursera Connect 2024," organized by Coursera has commenced in Las Vegas. The Center of  Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) leadership is also participating in this 3-day networking event.

On the first day of the event, Coursera's Chief Content Officer, Marni Baker Stein, welcomed the guests with an opening speech. Alondra Nelson, a member of the "TIME100 AI list" and recognized by U.S. President Joe Biden as a "leading AI thought leader," delivered a presentation on "How to Govern the Future." She spoke about the application of artificial intelligence in companies, universities, and schools, and how the younger generation will shape the future of the digital world.

The conference features participants from government, business, and academic sectors from various countries. During the event, which offers extensive networking opportunities, C4IR's Executive Director, Fariz Jafarov, shared insights about the development of online education in Azerbaijan, the achievements of the "4IR Academy" project implemented in collaboration with Coursera and the Education Development Fund under the Ministry of Science and Education, as well as national educational experiences. Discussions on the experiences of different countries and mutual exchanges of ideas were also held during the event.
