Fariz Jafarov, the Executive Director of the Center for the Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR Azerbaijan), spoke on the second day of the “Coursera Connect” event held in Las Vegas, participating in the Government panel.

During the panel session titled “Agile Organizations: Leading in Uncertain Conditions,” Fariz Jafarov provided information about the work being done to develop human capital within the framework of C4IR’s collaboration with the “Coursera” platform. He highlighted the steps taken in the education sector in the country and how both the government and private sector, especially vulnerable groups and job seekers, have benefited from this program.

It was emphasized that this collaboration is one of the essential steps for Azerbaijan to adapt to the rapidly changing technological environment. Ensuring employment for returning people in the liberated territories is possible through innovative education programs. It was mentioned that within the framework of cooperation with “Coursera,” it is planned for 200,000 citizens to acquire digital knowledge and skills in the field of Industry 4.0 over the next year.
