The Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR), in collaboration with the World Economic Forum, hosted a workshop titled "AI in Energy." Experts from the World Economic Forum's Energy and Materials Center, along with local professionals specializing in energy and artificial intelligence, participated in the session.
Soltan Bayramov, Deputy Executive Director of C4IR, highlighted the potential of AI to enhance energy efficiency and reduce carbon emissions. He also provided insights into the steps Azerbaijan is taking in its energy transition journey.
The main objective of the project, carried out under the partnership between C4IR and the World Economic Forum, is to identify the current challenges in Azerbaijan's energy sector and optimize energy consumption through the application of AI solutions. In this regard, discussions with Canada's "BrainBox AI" have led to the development of a project aimed at improving energy efficiency in commercial buildings across Azerbaijan.
