"4SİM Talks: The Role of Industry 4.0 Technologies in Combating Climate Change"

The role of Industry 4.0 technologies in addressing climate change was discussed at the latest 4SİM Talks event, organized as part of COP29.

 

Hosted by the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR) under the Ministry of Economy, the event focused on how cutting-edge technologies can mitigate climate challenges.

 

Fariz Jafarov, Executive Director of 4SİM, welcomed participants and introduced the center's mission and the 4SİM Talks initiative. He explained that this platform aims to inform representatives from the public and private sectors and academic institutions about Fourth Industrial Revolution technologies, their applications, advantages, and successful solutions. Additionally, it supports the formation of the Science-Industry Cluster 4.0.

 

Notable speakers included Vade Bitaraf, Head of Energy and Sustainability at Plug and Play Technology Center; Sam Ramadori, CEO of BrainboxAI; and Olga Skorokhodova, Head of Government Affairs and Public Policy for Central Asia, the Caucasus, and Emerging Markets at Google. They delivered presentations on topics such as "Startups in the Energy Sector," "Optimizing Energy Consumption with Artificial Intelligence," and "The Role of Digitalization in Climate Action."

 

The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session where international experts addressed questions from the audience.
