Soltan Bayramov, Deputy Executive Director of the Centre for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR Azerbaijan) under the Ministry of Economy, met with Kamran Hashimov, Chief Executive Officer of Unimetal LLC, a company that has applied to participate in the “Industry 4.0 Readiness Program.”

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on the modern technologies currently implemented at the enterprise, which specialises in the production of metal structures, reinforced concrete products, and other key components for industrial use. Discussions also covered the next steps within the framework of the “Industry 4.0 Readiness Program”, including the assessment of the company’s technological readiness and planned activities to support its digital transformation.

Accelerating Industrial Technological Transformation

The “Industry 4.0 Readiness Program”, implemented by C4IR Azerbaijan with the support of the Ministry of Economy, aims to accelerate the technological transformation of domestic industrial enterprises, enhance operational efficiency, and strengthen competitiveness through innovation.

Within the programme, production-oriented and export-capable enterprises are assessed according to an international methodology to determine their technological maturity. Based on diagnostics conducted by independent experts, each company receives a customised roadmap for technological transformation.

Financial and Expert Support for Implementation

During the implementation phase of these roadmaps, participating enterprises will be eligible for concessional loans from the Azerbaijan Business Development Fund (ABIF), as well as expert support involving international specialists.
