The assessment of technological readiness levels of enterprises participating in the “Industry 4.0 Readiness” Program, implemented by the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (C4IR Azerbaijan) under the Ministry of Economy, is actively underway.
As part of this process, local and international experts have conducted on-site evaluations of industrial transformation across several enterprises. Assessments have already taken place at Azersun Holding’s Sun Tea factory, Azertexnolayn’s steel pipe plant located in the Sumgait Industrial Park, Azeri Taxıl’s poultry production facility, KonstraLab Industries’ construction materials manufacturing site, and the STP Polymer factory.
These on-site evaluations examine production processes, operational management, technological infrastructure, automation levels, and digitalisation potential. In addition, enterprises undergo sustainability assessments that review energy efficiency, resource management, waste optimisation, corporate social responsibility, and governance practices. The next phase of the Programme involves preparing detailed evaluation reports that reflect the current state of each enterprise based on the collected data.
Supported by the Ministry of Economy, the “Industry 4.0 Readiness” Program aims to accelerate technological transformation across the national industrial sector, promote the adoption of innovation-driven production models, and strengthen operational efficiency and competitiveness. Participating enterprises are assessed using international methodologies across both technological transformation and sustainable development indicators, and each company receives a customised roadmap outlining its future development trajectory.
Companies interested in joining the Program may register via the industry4.az platform. Participation is fully free of charge.
