An additional 7,500 participants have joined the “Nation Program” and started training on the Coursera online learning platform.
Within the framework of the “4IR Academy”, jointly implemented by C4IR Azerbaijan under the Ministry of Economy and the Education Development Fund under the Ministry of Science and Education, an additional 7,500 individuals have joined the Nation Program and begun their training.
Participants will benefit from internationally recognized courses on the Coursera online learning platform for six weeks, covering digital skills, artificial intelligence, data analytics, programming, business, and other priority areas.
Since the launch of the Nation Program in March 2025, a total of 60,000 participants have enrolled in 250,000 courses on the Coursera platform. Participants have successfully completed more than 90,000 courses, earning internationally recognized certificates.
The program aims to enhance digital skills in the country, promote innovation-driven thinking, and accelerate the integration of new technologies. Through the program, participants gain access to training designed to develop modern technological knowledge, analytical thinking, management, and communication skills via a globally recognized online education platform.
Within the framework of the program, more than 18,000 courses from over 375 leading universities and technology companies worldwide are offered free of charge on the Coursera platform. To improve accessibility, 2,500 courses have been translated with Azerbaijani subtitles, while the 15 most in-demand courses have been dubbed using AI-based technology. In addition, the Nation Program interface on the Coursera platform has been made available in Azerbaijani.
Participants aged 21–30 constitute the largest group among program users. The youngest participant is 10 years old, while the oldest is 87. Statistics show that women account for more than 56% of the program’s participants. The program covers all regions of the country.
Every citizen of Azerbaijan can register through https://form.4sim.gov.az and benefit from this opportunity to develop competitive skills for the global labor market.
It should be noted that during the pilot phase of the 4IR Academy in 2024, 10,000 participants benefited from free access to Coursera courses for one year. Participants who successfully completed the courses received a total of 4,200 international certificates. The project also won the “Outstanding Achievement Award 2024” from Coursera in the “AI Innovation” category.
The program is implemented with the partnership of leading companies, including SOCAR, PASHA Holding, bp, JOCAP, and Azerconnect Group.
