02 March 2026

The Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution under the Ministry of Economy continues to implement measures aimed at developing competitive human capital in line with the “Socio-Economic Development Strategy for 2022–2026” and the “Digital Economy Development Strategy for 2026–2029”.

In this context, 4SIM is cooperating with Azerbaijan Technical University (AzTU) on the formation of the “Science and Industry Cluster 4.0” and the implementation of the “Digital Economy Development Support Programme”. As part of the programme, more students are expected to be involved as interns in the process of conducting technological diagnostics of local enterprises and preparing roadmaps for their transformation.

Within the framework of 4SIM’s partnership with Azerbaijan Technical University, 1,177 students and staff members of the university have benefited from the “4IR Academy - National Program”. They showed particular interest in courses on the Coursera platform in the fields of data science, cybersecurity and STEM, earning a total of 2,779 international certificates.

Joint activities are also planned in the areas of training and certification programmes for students and academic staff, publishing training materials and courses developed by the university on the Coursera platform within the National Program, exploring opportunities for credit recognition, and organizing hackathons.
