The third experience-sharing session for enterprises participating in the Digital Economy Development Support Program was held by the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (4SIM) under Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Economy.
During the event, Soltan Bayramov, Deputy Executive Director of 4SIM, presented an overview of the progress and results achieved under the Program. He noted that 18 participating enterprises have entered the implementation phase of their tailored technological transformation roadmaps.
As part of the Program, more than 400 potential technological transformation initiatives and over 160 sustainability practices have been assessed across participating enterprises. From these, approximately 80 priority solutions were selected, with technical, operational and financial assessments developed to support their implementation.
At the implementation stage, enterprises receive expert support to advance the initiatives identified in their transformation roadmaps. Support is also being provided to expand access to financing instruments that can enable companies to implement priority technological solutions.
The session featured presentations by international experts on the adoption of automation, advanced analytics and robotics across industrial enterprises. Experts also shared international practices on effectively managing transformation processes, strengthening implementation governance and ensuring accountability.
Around 50 professionals responsible for strategic development and transformation within participating enterprises took part in the session, providing a platform for peer learning, knowledge exchange and discussion of practical approaches to industrial transformation.
The Digital Economy Development Support Program is one of the key initiatives under Azerbaijan’s Digital Economy Development Strategy for 2026–2029. The Program aims to accelerate technological transformation across local enterprises, expand the adoption of advanced technologies and strengthen their productivity, resilience and competitiveness.
